Hello, my name is Makenzie Pickett I am 16 years old and I am currently attending Fleming Island high school.  For my future, I am stuck between going to UF to get into the medical field or going to cosmetology school to be the top make up artist.

Something that I want to accomplish this year as a queen is making sure everyone feels good about themselves and believes in themselves.

One word to describe me would be. POSITIVE

My plan for the future is to go to college.

My favorite thing to do would for sure have to be cheerleading.

Hello! My name is Daniela Leyva. I'm from Colombia, I moved to the USA when I was 7 years old. My platform is the St. Cloud Community Pantry because there are a lot of people who live very different realities than us, which is why it's so important to help and be involved in your community

What do you want to accomplish this year as National Queen? A: I want to volunteer for all kinds of organizations and charities, as titleholder I would get more exposure to my community which would open up more opportunities for me. Most of all, I want to empower young girls and teach them about leadership.

If you could use one word to describe yourself, what would it be? Brave, I like taking risks and trying new things, I strongly believe that in the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take.

What are your plans and goals for your future? I want to graduate high and study political science in college, I want to be a politician when I grow up because I believe the world needs more female leaders.

What is your favorite thing to do? I love to listen to music, I normally stay up late listening to music in my room, I also enjoy practicing contortion in my free time, learning new moves and trying new things, I actually started teaching myself when I was 9 years old
